Hours Monday through Sunday 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Staff always on duty. Gospel Center Rescue Mission provides dinner for any person in need. Meals are served at 5:30 p.m. Clothing is also provided on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Closed when the day falls on the first or third of the month. Programs Men's Emergency Lodge This program meets the physical and spiritual nightly housing needs of homeless men, women and children from the surrounding communities of San Joaquin County. The Emergency Lodge program provides up to 90 homeless, single men with food, clothing and shelter during an incidence of homelessness. The client can access sources of spiritual inspiration, medical help, employment, addiction treatment and more during his stay (Support this program!). Learn More New Hope Family Shelter New Hope Family Shelter is a transitional housing program for single women and children. This program provides the student and up to 50 children with basic needs of food clothing and shelter while they resolve the immediate issues leading to their homelessness and develop skills to avoid homelessness in the future. Program components include education, work skill development, addiction treatment, anger management and budgeting to name a few (Support this program!). Learn More New Life Program This is a recovery life program to manage life from addiction to recovery for men and women providing classes dealing with spiritual, emotional and physical issues. The New Life Program is a six month addiction treatment program. The program offers a clean, sober environment, education in recovery issues along with overcoming family dysfunction issues, life skills, nutrition, parenting and Christian counseling. The second phase of the New Life Program is where student's begin to make and pay restitution to society. They begin employment and/or go to school and pay for program fees. The final phase extends for additional 2.5 years for stability in the Hope Housing residences. (Support this program!). Food Distributions: Provides a balanced food box including dry packaged food including pastas, cereal, and granola bars. It also includes canned foods such as vegetables, fruit, tomato spaghetti sauce, and a variety of soups. The GSTC also offers frozen meats including lunch meat, packaged chicken, pork and beef along with bread. Some snack treats are also included such as cookies, pastries etc. On occasion we are able to provide fresh eggs, milk, yogurt, fresh fruits and vegetables. Clothing distribution center Clothing distribution includes clean and mended clothing, provided throughout the year.
