About Licking County Aging Program

Today, the County's Licensing Aging Program is the district's largest senior center.

Located at the eastern end of Newark, the agency helps meet seniors' basic needs for meals, health care, home care, and social connections in their own neighborhoods.

Through its partnerships and integrated service delivery, LCAP ensures one of the most diverse - vulnerable populations in the province.

Preparing and delivering nearly 1,000 meals, 5 days a week throughout Licking County through their Meals on Wheels program.

Many of them are isolated without a nest or family to alleviate their aging problems.

At Licking County Aging Program, they strive to respond to each and everyone as a whole with unique needs.

Whether it's home support, medical transportation, or simply a place to belong, LCAP helps every senior citizen find a way to stay healthier and live with dignity as they get older.

The Licking County Aging Program is the first senior center in Ohio State to receive certification from the Ohio Association of Senior Centers.
