About Missionaries Of Charity - Mother Teresa Home For Women In Distress

Emergency Shelter: Fri-Wed 4:00 pm - 6:30am. Soup Kitchen: Fri-Wed (Closed Thursdays) 9:30 am - 11:00 am. Provides emergency night shelter for women and children, (boys under age 4 only). Dinner and breakfast is provided, as well as emergency clothing and toiletries. Runs a soup kitchen for men. Also provides food and clothing to severely needy families. Sisters will visit the family home, assess the need, and provide dry food. Must show up at 4:00pm for intake.

These women are paid well from what I've read but no amount of money could prepare you for the lack of gratitude shown. I'm not Catholic but I tell you truthfully it's looking better everyday. Thank you especially Sister Maria that is my friend and she doesn't speak English the best but language doesn't stand in their way. I'm a Christian but they have shown me a thing or two.
