About McCreary County Senior Citizen Center

The Senior Service Department provides and coordinates programs and services that enhance self-esteem, support independence and offer to stimulate and meaningful opportunities for adults aged 60 years and over.

Department staff operates a central kitchen that provides daily nutritious meals to 10 senior centers in LCADD's service area.

The Department's staff also manages all ten Senior Centers.

The Senior Centers are multi-purpose community facilities and are the focal point for providing all services to seniors, including escort, transportation, information, assistance, outreach, phone reassurance, visitation reassurance, congregate meals, and home-delivered meals.
