We are committed to improving the living conditions and personal dignity of those in need in San Marcos and Hays County, Texas. The SSCC provides programs that include: Homeless shelter and food, Emergency assistance, Housing for low-income and elderly, Neighborhood housing improvement, Cooperation with other community organizations. Meeting the needs of the individual or families by helping find resources for proper medical care, food, and shelter. Providing resources and/or a safe environment temporarily in crisis empowers the family to become more proactive in meeting their other essential needs.
Services:
They provide temporary financial assistance for rent and utilities (electric, gas, propane, or water).
Assistance was also provided to survivors of disasters such as fires and floods.
Hours of Operation:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
My Family and I have been staying woth a relitive for about 8 months now. We will no longer be abke to reside as he can no longer assist us. My wife, 5year old son, our pet and I will no longer have a place to stay. He attends Kyle Elementary in Hays county. I started work at Go retail! Calendar club. Just started. My wife works for Garcia cleaning service. 6 months I scared that we will end up staying in our truck and or paying motels just to get by and its not cheap either. Any Information leading us in the right direction would be helpful. Thank you
