About Southwest Senior Activity Center

The Bergen County Division of Senior Services was established in 1966 under the Federal Legislation of the Older Americans Act.
The Division of Senior Services is the leading planning, coordination and funding agency for programs and services for seniors, promoting the well-being, health and independence of Bergen County's more than 190,000 seniors.
The division is particularly targeted at people in difficulty and in the greatest social and economic need.
As a leading agency in Bergen County's Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC), the Division assists older people, disabled people over the age of 18 and their carers to access comprehensive, long-term care, community-based, health and human services.
