About Dixon Senior Center

The Senior Citizen's Center Program shines as the most visible program offered by the Central Missouri Area Agency on Aging (CMAAA).

The CMAAA currently sponsors 31 senior centers in its 19-county service area.

In many cases, the Senior Center becomes a focal point for community involvement and offers many services including:

A variety of recreational and social activities;

Health education and screening programs;

Exercise classes;

Information and assistance services;

And numerous volunteer opportunities for people of all ages.

All senior centers have a low vision resource center for visually impaired people who need help reading or performing manual work.

The Missouri Rehabilitation Service for the Blind provides low-vision assistance available for use in free centers and for short-term loans.

People love good food and look forward to getting together for a meal.

It is therefore natural that the most popular feature of the senior citizens' center is the Congregate Meal Program.

Hours of Operation:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
