The role of the Senior Center is to offer activities and events for people 55 years of age and older.
Activities include speakers, discussions and educational seminars to meet the fitness, wellness and recreational needs of the residents of Poolesville and surrounding areas.
The whole concept is to provide a place for seniors to socialize, take a bus ride, listen to talks on important age-related issues, and enjoy music and other entertainment.
The Senior Center offers residents the opportunity to be part of something that is important to them.
All senior residents are encouraged to provide contributions and suggestions and to participate in any way they can.
Activities and events are held at various locations in the Poolesville area, such as the Family Life Center of the Baptist Church opposite West Willard High School and the Town Hall and Whalen Commons.

Monday - Friday: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
