The Stoneham Senior Center is the Towns second oldest Almshouse, built in 1852 in the Greek Revival style. The building was renovated in 1998 and has been proudly listed on the National Register of Historical Places since 1984. Through the guidance from the Council on Aging's Board of Directors and Senior center staff, the center provides various programs focused on nutritional, health, recreational, transportation, informational and referral services for residents in our community 60 years of age and older. We would love to have you join us as a program participant or volunteer. Come by for a tour of the center during regular hours and see what your senior center has to offer. The mission of the Stoneham Council on Aging is to welcome all to the Senior Center and provide outstanding services to all seniors with kindness, respect, dignity and by offering services for social, nutritional, and medical needs, and to provide outreach to senors in the community.
