Give low-income seniors the opportunity to volunteer in the community, providing 15 to 40 hours of one-on-one supportive services per week to children with special needs in a designated community setting.
Volunteers receive a tax-free grant, reimbursement of transport costs, meals during the service, physical examination, training, accident, and liability insurance, acquired medical and holiday leave, and paid leave.
Hours of Operation:
8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Eligibility:
Low income, over 55 years of age.
Fees:
No cost.
