The Emergency Shelter Operation: Only homeless mens emergency shelter with no time limit on length of the stay. Serves three hot meals and a snack daily to each guest. Meals Program: The Firehouse Shelter is Birmingham's only agency that serves three full, hot and nutritious meals a day to the homeless. Lunch is open to the entire homeless community. Hours: Monday - Sunday, 8:00 am - 4:00pm.
