Assist low-income households particularly those with lowest incomes that pay a high portion of household income for home energy. The program encourages priority be given to those with the highest home energy needs, meaning low income household with a high energy burden, primarily the elderly, persons with disabilities, and families with children under the age of 6. areas/counties are covered by this program are Bee, Brooks, Cameron, Duval, Jim Wells, San Patricio, and Willacy counties. Applicants must apply and meet the federal poverty level of 125% of less to be eligible for services. Call for an application or visit our Offices.
