For decades, the LJCC (formerly the Lifford Center) has been a place of learning, wellness, friendship, and social activities for all adults in La Jolla.
Decades ago, Florence Riford funded the Centre as a social club for local residents.
Today, the Center operates and sustains itself as a nonprofit organization with the support of its members, volunteers, and donors.
Through generous donations in recent years, the center has been significantly updated and improved.
