Our Saviour's Housing (OSH) oversees two major programs designed to help homeless people. The emergency shelter program offers a 30-day stay in a dormitory, hot meals, weekly medical assistance, and case managers who provide guidance and advice on housing, employment, and personal issues. The shelter accommodates 40 people. The Transitional Housing Program assists men and women and families transitioning from homelessness to independent living in three separate housing units. Participants in this program also benefit from case management support, can live in the residence for up to one year, and pay rent during their stay. Shelter We have apartments for homeless families with two or more children that are minors. If you're in need of shelter, bring your entire family to Sharing & Caring Hands (525 N. 7th St.) Monday Thursday at 10:30AM or 1:30PM. Please note that requests for shelter are considered on an individual basis and are not automatically granted. Meals Hot meals are served at our Day Services Center Monday Thursday at 10:30AM, 12PM, & 3PM; Saturday and Sunday at 9:30AM & 11AM; no meals served on Fridays. All are welcome to join us for these meals. Food Bags of food are given to families with children and individuals: Monday Thursday 10:30AM - 11:30AM or 1:30PM 3:00PM. Dental Dental services are available on a first-come, first-serve basis whenever a dentist is available. We provide extractions and fillings only. All services are free of charge and services are provided for those who have little to no dental coverage.
