Men, women and children. Five self-contained shelter apartments with a full kitchen, bathroom, washer and dryer are available for Lewis County families and individuals who find themselves homeless due to natural disasters, economic distress, over-crowding, etc. Shelter residents may stay up to six months. Very low-income households are able to receive monthly assistance in the form of rent and utility subsidies for qualified rental properties for up to two years.
