Hot meals for seniors ages 60+ are served at the City Park Recreation Center. Transportation to and from the lunch site is available, but please call the day before to make pick-up arrangements. Homebound seniors that are 55+ can have meals delivered (Meals-on-Wheels). The Senior Nutrition Project also offers assistance and referrals with issues concerning Medi-Care and Medi-Cal, Social Security, health insurance, long-term health, senior housing, tax preparation and legal matters.
Family oriented program that provides many different programs including senior services and activities, mental health services, parenting services, computer lab, referrals for clothing, food, shelter, etc. Current ID required for some resources. A 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, provides general medical care as well as cancer treatment, cardiopulmonary, diagnostic imaging, emergency services, home care, hospice, intensive care, laboratory, maternity ward, physical, speech & occupational therapy, behavioral health and counseling referrals and surgical services.
