Eligibility: Everyone is eligible. Customers allowed a full shop every month (based on the last name). A loaf of bread and produce shop once a week on non-full shop weeks. Hours of Operation: Tuesdays, 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., Fridays from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.,  Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Admission process: Walk-in. The days of entry are determined by the last names of the customers. Customers  can shop  with last names beginning with : A-F on the 1st - 7th of the month, G-L on the 8th - 14th of the month, M-R on the 15th - 21st of the month, and S-Z on the 22nd - 31st of the month. ..

The Evans Center promotes independence, physical and mental health, community involvement and social interaction to the 55+ community. Center happenings range from daily and weekly activities such as exercise and yoga designed for seniors, card and board games, arts and crafts opportunities, and performing arts like chorus and drama. It is home to a variety of parks and recreation classes and the starting point for trips to local restaurants, theaters and shopping destinations as well as longer, overnight trips. In addition to recreational activities, the Evans Center provides access to many helpful senior resources by offering support groups, health fairs and screenings, monthly safety seminars and transportation by minibus to and from the Center and other local destinations for a nominal $2 fee per trip. The Center also shares contact information for service organizations, such as LifeCare Alliance and the Central Ohio Office on Aging. The Grove City Area Senior Citizen Club works closely with the Evans Center by sponsoring entertainment, refreshments and other supplies.
