The Senior Community Center is the headquarters for supplying and delivering Meals-on Wheels to our homebound and disabled senior citizens. Meals are prepared Monday - Friday Noontime meals are also served at the center every day Monday - Friday. Citizens can always enjoy a nutritious lunch followed by social activities planned by the Director. The Center produces a monthly newsletter highlighting senior programs and their luncheon menus. It includes tips with regards to health, nutrition, exercise and legal matters. The Center has clinics for blood pressure testing and flu shots. In addition there are special trips, free transportation, entertainment, volunteer services, internet access, the Visiting Nurse Association and related organizations. The Center is used for commodity food distribution. There is Service Link Satellite Office in the building it offers referral services on matters relating to aging, chronic illness and disability. There is also a resource library providing individuals the opportunity to research information (educational articles, pamphlets/brochures, internet access.)..
