The Senior Activity Center is located in the Melrose City Center at 225 1st St NE and is a handicapped-accessible facility. Seniors can enjoy the beautiful view of the Sauk River as well as the benches and tables on the City Center grounds. A meal is served on the third Thursday of the month during the months of September through May. The Center is also open for socializing, quilting, pool playing, and other games such as scrabble, checkers, puzzles, etc. There are computers with internet access available as well. Seniors (55+ years of age) residing in Melrose Area School District #740 and the Birch Lake area are invited to participate and use the Center. There are no membership dues...
