The Campbell County Senior Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM until 3:00 PM each day. The Center is located at 3504 Alexandria Pike (in front of Lakeside Terrace overlooking the lake.) The Center offers an array of activities and programs based on a wellness model. Every senior citizen attending the center has the opportunity to use the exercise equipment on a daily basis, attend scheduled activities, participate in health and total wellness programs and receive individualized training if necessary. The Center is staffed by Marsha Dufeck, Center Director; Jessica Shields, Wellness Coordinator; Theresa Connaughton, Assistant Manager, and Veronika Brannock, Wellness Assistant. Center Operations are overseen the Campbell County Fiscal Court. The programs offered at the Senior Center are designed on a wellness-based model that responds to the needs of the whole person in a peer-supportive environment, encouraging independence and the practice of healthy behaviors.
