Crook County Senior Services, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides senior programs and assistance for individuals 60 years of age and over. Our programs are funded by state and federal grants along with assistance from Crook County Commissioners, Towns of Hulett, Moorcroft and Sundance, Senior Center Boards of Hulett, Moorcroft and Sundance and also from seniors utilizing our programs. We also have fundraisers to ensure our programs continue to exist. The main focus of our programs are to keep seniors active and connected with the community and to enable them to be as independent for as long as they are able. The future holds endless opportunities to expand our programs as our seniors are living longer and enjoying healthier lifestyles. Many seniors today do not view themselves as seniors. We are in the process of developing new activities to include intergenerational opportunities to encourage more community involvement. We are hopeful that bringing people of all ages together will banish the stigma of growing older as negative and educate the community on what great gifts and contributions our seniors have to offer..
