Wyandot County Council on Aging, Inc. is a non-profit organization serving citizens 60 years and older that specializes in meeting the needs of Wyandot County's senior citizen population. WCCOA offers Nutrition, Transportation, Homemaking, Information & Referral, Socialization, Free Legal Services, Medicaid and Medicare assistance and Free Tax Preparation. Since 1974, WCCOA has been committed to improving the lives of Wyandot County Seniors one service at a time. This is done by working to reach our goal of providing services that enable Wyandot County senior citizens to remain in their own homes as long as possible. We are governed by a 15 member volunteer Board of Trustees. No one shall be excluded from participation in our services or activities because of race, color, national origin or handicap in compliance with the civil rights act of 1964, as amended. WCCOA is funded locally by federal revenue sharing, private donations, contributions, fund-raising projects and local levies passed by Wyandot County citizens.
