The Soprema Senior Center & Caf is located at 617 School Drive on the vibrant multi-generational Wadsworth High School and Community Center campus. The Senior Center features a charming full-service Caf that targets service to seniors and is open to the general public. The Caf features a tasty selection of breakfast and lunch offerings, prepared fresh onsite Monday through Friday from 7:30 am 2:00 pm. The Caf has WiFi access and guests of all ages are encouraged to meet friends and colleagues to take advantage of the great food and welcoming atmosphere. In addition to the Caf, the Soprema Senior Center offers ample opportunities for a variety of both traditional and contemporary senior programming. Seniors are invited to engage in recreational, educational, informational, seasonal and social programs. A number of special events are planned throughout the year including our signature Senior Citizens Prom, Senior & Caregiver Expo, Senior Advocate Hall of Fame, and Wadsworth Old Fashioned Day Celebration, to name a few. The Senior Center at the Medina County Office for Older Adults is always bustling with activities that appeal to all Older Adults. We offer exercise classes, educational programs, senior trips, billiards, sewing, movies, pinochle, bingo, nutrition classes, support groups and many other programs and activities. We have a monthly dance with our own house band, Leos Jolly Jammers, and offer fun special events throughout the year including Senior Day, Antiques Roadshow, Picnics on the Patio and special holiday parties. Lunch is served daily at the Senior Center.
