Paying for Services: SPARC accepts major health insurances and Medicaid. We also offer a sliding payment scale through St. Peter's Mercy Healthcare Benefits program for those uninsured and in need of assistance. - For individuals 18 years or older, SPARC offers: Detoxification services, Inpatient rehabilitation, Outpatient rehabilitation, Professionals outpatient program, SPARC's men's community residence, Individuals younger than 18 years can access treatment at: SPARC's outpatient adolescent. - Detoxification Services: SPARC operates an 18-bed adult acute care Chemical Dependency Crisis Unit at St. Peter's Hospital. Detoxification stabilizes patients suffering withdrawal from such substances as alcohol, heroin, cocaine, amphetamines, and inhalants. - Inpatient Rehabilitation: SPARC offers inpatient rehabilitation at a 40-bed facility in Guilderland, NY. It is open 24 hours/day, seven days/week and specializes in treating adults with alcoholism and chemical dependency problems. Rehabilitation services offer a structured setting to help patients achieve and maintain a substance-free lifestyle to begin their return to independent living. A team of physicians, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, social workers, nurses, and chemical dependency counselors provide a wide array of services.

Programs: Code Blue, Furniture Bank . Code Blue Albany is an outreach, transportation, and shelter protocol to engage, transport, and shelter homeless people in the City of Albany who might otherwise remain unsheltered during periods of extreme winter weather. CBA protocols are in place between November 15 and March 15.The HATAS Capital Region Furniture Bank is a model agency collaboration in the Capital Region. Bringing together HATAS, Catholic Charities, St. Catherine's Center for Children, and Unity House, our mission is to provide free, basic furnishings for households emerging from homeless shelters and domestic violence.
