Milan Seniors for Healthy Living (MSHL) is a non-profit organization committed to providing activities, programs, services, and referrals designed to enhance quality of life and encourage aging with independence and dignity in the Milan, MI area. Our four branches include the Milan Senior Center, Transportation Service, and Meals on Wheels, and Resource Advocacy for Milan Seniors (RAMS). Milan has been offering senior activities for over 40 years under the Parks and Recreation umbrella. In 2010, when we were able to turn ourselves into a non-profit dedicated to aging services. Our partnership with the City continues as we share the Riverbank Community Center space and with Milans senior millage. MSHL was established in 2010 offering senior activities, lunches, and our transportation service on a limited basis. By 2015, we grew our transportation to full time and adopted Meals on Wheels from Aid In Milan. Now, in 2018, we are able to offer formal resource advocacy and needs assessments for our older adults and their caregivers.
