Meadows Valley Community Center

102 N Commercial
New Meadows, ID - 83654
(208)347-2363
Our center was built in 1992 by Seniors in our Community. Therefore, it was called the New Meadows Senior Center and many attended this new facility. Times have since changed. We have now changed our name to reflect what we want to become, a Community Center for the Meadows Valley. We are currently open two days a week for community involvement and to serve meals. We would like to expand the days we are open. Our purpose here at the Meadows Valley Community Center is to have affordable home cooked meals for everyone in our community. You can help by joining us for dinner. Currently, from the State of Idaho we receive $3.50 for people who are over 60 and are registered with the State. We want to have activities that will keep the community active. This is a place where we can come together and enjoy each other by playing pool, board games, cards. Television games like the ever popular wii are available. Come talk and get acquainted over a cup of coffee with people in our community. We like to take care of our elderly by having a foot clinic once a month sponsored by St. Luke's Hospital in McCall. If you or a loved are in the need of foot care call the Community Center for an appointment. The clinic operates the second Tuesday of every month. Are you or someone close to you in need of assistance equipment, we have it. Items such as walkers, crutches, seat risers, canes are available. Call the center for more information. We want this Community Center to be a hub of activity for every resident in the Meadows Valley, young and old. We have exercise classes on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9:00 a.m. We have a group that meets every Friday afternoon to play Pinocle at 2:00 p.m. Bible study every Tuesday night at 6:00 p.m. We use to go to McCall once a week and to Ontario once a month. All these things are possible if enough interest is generated. We would love to continue these outings. We have a 14 passenger bus that we use for activities and field trips...
