Services: Through funds from the Alabama Emergency Management Agency, the city built the storm shelter in 2008. The facility is also used as a center for the elderly. The City Hall offers the Meals for the Elderly program at the Center and offers a weekly program of exercises and daily recreational activities for the elderly, in addition to providing meals. Anyone over the age of 60 or the spouse of anyone over the age of 60 can apply to participate in the Meals for the Elderly program.
