The Arab Senior Center is a 17,000-square-foot facility that offers activities and learning experiences for their most respected and valued seniors. Among the services included in the structure there is a large ballroom complete with stage and a state-of-the-art audiovisual multimedia system. In addition to the ballroom, the sports center the following specialty areas: quilts, ceramics, billiards, exercise, computers and playrooms, along with a full commercial kitchen and a library/reading room. The Arab Senior Center and its various programs offer a safe, clean, and enjoyable scholarship place for older members of their community. The center provides a friendly and fun atmosphere where their seniors enjoy a hot lunch, line dancing lessons, physical exercises and gospel songs on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They celebrate members' birthdays one day a month. Other activities include bingo with prizes, board and card games, movies with popcorn shuffleboards, special speakers and entertainment, health checkups, quilting, exercise equipment and computers. In addition to these activities, the center provides assistance in many other ways, such as reading complex mail and paperwork, helping with grocery shopping, and even making and keeping appointments with hairdressers, doctors, etc., as long as these locations are within the city limits. Access to these activities and services is arranged through their bus transport for members who are unable to drive. Participants are brought to the site in the morning and returned daily in the afternoon. In the meantime, bus drivers deliver lunches to people in Arab cities who need help.
