The Gathering Place has evolved into much more than a senior center. The daily calendar at The Gathering Place is lled with activities in which anyone, regardless of age, can participate. TGP sponsors day trips to theater, music and sporting events and extended trips to popular destinations. Movies, book discussions, Strong Women and tness classes, quilting and knitting groups, basket-weaving and painting classes, and workshops and presentations on a wide variety of topics are some of the regular activities at the center. Special activities such as community-theater productions, Concerts in the Park, Pumpkin Fest and Hot Dogs with Santa beckon to the community and visitors alike.
