The Ingleside Senior Citizens' Center is staffed by 2 part-time employees who offer transportation, prepare snacks, plan and execute special events, provide nutritional information and other services to seniors. The Ingleside Senior Citizens' Center serves the needs of the Ingleside Senior Citizens by offering opportunities and resources for nutrition, health, recreation and social interaction. Seniors in the community are welcome to join the center. Through a cooperative effort with the Community Action Corporation of South Texas (CACOST), the Area Agency on Coastal Curve Aging and the City of Ingleside the Center offers a hot meal every day at noon for an optional donation of 25 to 75 euros per person.  Ingleside Meals on Wheels to seniors' home in Ingleside is also provided through this property. All Senior Citizen can join the Center and enjoy a hot meal and fellowship with other Seniors in the community. It also offers transportation to and from the center and moves seniors to several places in the area to shop and do business, as well as deliver meals to homebound. The City of Ingleside purchased the property on Main Street in Ingleside and paid for renovations to the building to offering a permanent home for the center and its activities. The center has a full kitchen, as well as gaming tables, fitness equipment, large screen TV and offices. Thanks to many generous donations from the public, the center also has free Internet access, sewing machines and various games. Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 2:00 pm  ..
