The Benbrook Senior Citizen Center is funded by the city of Benbrook. The purpose of the Center is to promote the well-being of seniors over 50 years of age through planned programs and activities that offer opportunities for education, recreation, and social interaction. Center members enjoy a variety of activities, including field trips, shopping and dining excursions, and holiday outings. In addition, the Center organizes special events such as an annual craft show and sale, garage sales, an annual Western Hills High School scholarship banquet, exercise classes, driver safety courses, and assistance with income tax preparation.
