Located at 139 Clay Street in the former Tremont High School, the Tremont Senior Community Center features the best of "old school" charm combined with a modern kitchen, dining room, and computer lab. The center offers plenty of free parking and access to park areas and the community pool (in season). In addition to enjoying regularly scheduled exercise class, educational programs and wellness checks, center participants are avid card players and puzzle buffs! Plus, a regulation-size pool table and fun basketball hoop are sure to add to your fun. The center is open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays, with a nutritionally balanced lunch available at noon. The creative cooks at our center often indulge the community by offering home-made pot pie for sale. Volunteer opportunities abound at the center and include the one-on-one interaction of delivering Meals on Wheels or the camaraderie of helping with daily activities and events. Whether meeting with old friends or making new ones, you are certain to enjoy every minute of your visit at the Tremont center!..
