Located at 116 N. Main Street in the AP Damato American Legion building, our center touts the areas rich heritage and showcases the proud history of Anthony P. Damato, a Medal of Honor Recipient (and the buildings namesake). The senior community center offers a wide range of educational programs, activities, and computer lab in addition to an antique shuffleboard table game. Volunteer opportunities abound at the center, whether you enjoy the one-on-one contact of delivering Meals on Wheels or helping with daily center activities and events. Annually, the center participates in community events such as Kielbasy Fest and Heritage Day. The Legion Memorial Park, adjacent to the center, offers a warm, grassy space for outdoor picnics and fun days! Open daily from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., the center offers a nutritionally complete lunchtime meal in addition to wellness checks, educational programs, STS applications, and much more.
