The Alle-Kiski Center for Active Adults (formerly New Kensington Senior Center) is part of the Alle-Kiski Valley Senior Citizens Center, Inc., a 501(c)3 tax-exempt, nonprofit organization. The Alle-Kiski Senior Activity Centre was founded on May 16, 1975, by the Alcoa Retirees Club, headed by T.J. Miller. The center is located at 1039 Third Avenue in New Kensington, PA, in the former United Steel Workers building. They enjoy a large and well-furnished building that is easily accessible just outside the center of New Kensington, PA. It is with professionally trained staff and volunteers who plan and assist with their variety of programs and activities. They   operate outreach sites in 11 different communities and operate two satellite centers in East Vandergrift (former East Vandergrift Senior Center) and Avonmore (formerly Avonmore Senior Center).
