The Charles H. Formont Senior Center located @ 6 James Street in E/R, Adjacent to the Village Hall (376 Atlantic Avenue) has it doors continuously open. To all New Seniors & their friends who are invited to come in & browse through the newly decorated facility. We have expanded our hours & days of operation & have developed year-round programs. Stop-by, and pick up an information packet, included will be an application if you should decide to join. Membership is $25 annually. Our programs include various card games, as well as multiple board games, starting in October there will be Bingo twice a month. There is Bocce during our hours of operation, daily outside in Memorial park. On the horizon is Corn Hole (sometimes called Corn Toss). We have our own Mini library for your use and enjoyment. We have an exercise class every Monday morning from 10:30 am-11:30 am for the next several months. We are building programs for Mah Jong, Pinochle, and other games/activities. Also, every Monday & Friday we offer coffee, tea, bagels & rolls with the trimmings. We have gone on 4 initial trips this year so far, and are in the planning stages for additional trips from the Spring through the Fall.
