Marlboro Townships Recreation Center offers an extensive array of activities, classes and trips for adults 60 years of age and older. The Center encourages good physical and mental health and promotes wellness within the senior adult population. Participating seniors are energized by the variety of physical and intellectual activities scheduled. Friendships develop as the seniors mingle before a class or while transferring from one class to another. The halls are filled with them stopping to greet a friend or making lunch plans. Monthly social events hosting lunch and entertainment afford another avenue to gather and have a great time. The Senior Centers goal is to help participants stay active and remain independent. Its motto is "There are no strangers here . . . only friends we have not met."..
