Wells Ogunquit Center At Moody (WOCAM) opened in 2004. The goal was then and continues to be supporting Seniors in our Community through a variety of means. The Center offers opportunities to learn about topics that effect seniors. Many members come to stay mentally sharp through a variety of activities. We host card games: Bridge, Hand & Foot, and Pinochle each week. Some come to stay physically active. We have line dancing, yoga and exercise classes here each week. Many come to develop social relationships. There are a variety of activities to pursue that enrich social lives. Volunteering, enjoying a luncheon, or just hanging out while drinking coffee and eating donuts. From the 1997 birth of our non-profit 501 (c) organization known as The Senior Needs Committee of Wells and Ogunquit, Seniors joined in the common goal in building a Wells and Ogunquit Senior Center. Long before the doors of The Center opened on July 17, 2004, Seniors bonded in fundraising efforts, planning and celebrating the successes that led to the construction of our beautiful facility.
