Interfaith Works Connections Interfaith Works Connections links low-income residents of Montgomery County to the resources they need. The Outreach Coordinators, who are bilingual in English and Spanish, meet with Interfaith Works Clothing Center customers to conduct a comprehensive needs assessment, gather information to make referrals to appropriate partner providers, and educate clients about available assistance. Referrals are made to many types of services, including food, vocational services, English/literacy classes, furniture and behavioral health. Interfaith Works Connections also works with neighbors in financial crisis to provide a safety net and prevent evictions and utility cutoffs subject to funding availability. Each family member sets individual goals to improve essential living skills and stabilize areas of crisis. Mentor teams work with families for at least one year and often longer. Interfaith Clothing Center: Provides free clothing and household goods to 13,000 income-qualified residents each year, including nearly 6,000 children, through the distribution of millions of dollars worth of donated items. Interfaith Housing Coalition: Provides permanent housing with supports for 25 families. Each family is engaged in intensive case management and works toward customized family action plan goals aimed at progressing to greater financial independence. ..

Residential Rehabilitation The Residential Rehabilitation Programs of Cornerstone Montgomery, Inc., are designed to help individuals learn to live as independently as possible. Ranging from 24-hour onsite supervision to drop in services, we believe that with the right level of support, everyone can live successfully in the community. Dependent on the level of individual need, our residential staff can provide assistance with transportation, cooking, medication monitoring, activities of daily living and provide opportunities for increasing socialization. We are passionate about helping the individuals we work with learn the skills to stay out of the hospital. Psychiatric Rehabilitation Comprised of the Supported Living, Permanent Supportive Housing and Montgomery County Case Management Programs, the Psychiatric Rehabilitation programs of Cornerstone Montgomery provide support to individuals living outside of Cornerstone Montgomery's Residential Rehabilitation Program. Services are delivered in the community and depending on each individual's need, participants in our Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program receive support with medication management, independent living skills training, benefits management and housing supports. Individuals meet with staff between 1-2 times each week. Residential Crisis For individuals experiencing increased symptoms of a mental health disorder, Cornerstone Montgomery offers Residential Crisis Services. These services are community based, alternatives to inpatient hospitalization. Our Residential Crisis programs are located in suburban single-family neighborhoods and offer 24-hour staff supervision and support. The length of stay averages 10 days. Our Residential Crisis Service Program is the largest alternative to inpatient psychiatric hospitalization in Montgomery County. ..
