Moscow Senior Center

Senior citizens gather in the Senior Center (located in the 1912 Center) for many activities, including card playing (pinochle on Tuesday afternoons and bridge on Thursday afternoons), mah jongg Wednesday afternoons, bingo on Friday mornings, Blind and Diabetic Support group (Wednesday mornings), computer instruction Monday mornings, computer use, jigsaw puzzles, and socializing throughout the week. The Senior Center is open from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM Monday through Friday (closed on holidays). Anyone interested in activities in the Moscow Senior Center can call the Center at (208) 882-1562. The coffee pot is always on at the center, and there's also tea. The center has a color TV with many cable channels along with a DVD/VCR player. There is a large library of books as well as a number of magazines. The center has three desktop computers (Windows 10 PCs) available for use by seniors (55+); all PCs can access the internet at high speeds, and two PCs can print to a color printer. The 1912 Center is a free wifi "hot spot," so bring your laptop or other "smart" device. (Internet access courtesy of First Step Internet and the City of Moscow.).
