Elderly Activities Division (EAD) Administration oversees six programs: RSVP, Coordinated Services for Seniors, Training and Employment Program for Seniors, Hawaii County Nutrition Program, Recreational Services for Seniors/Special Programs. The Division provides comprehensive and coordinated services to seniors to promote maximum independence, optimal health, personal dignity, and self-fulfillment. EAD employees offer seniors 55 years and older many educational and recreational choices, various opportunities and services to improve their quality of life, such as employment, volunteer opportunities, transportation, escort, information and assistance, home services (choir, personal care), recreational activities, collect meals and home meals and throughout the island, state, national and international events (Kupana Hula, bowling, softball, health fair, etc.). ..
