Chickamauga Senior Center is located in the heart of the historic city of Chickamauga. The Chickamauga Senior Center is a historic landmark built in the late 1940s as the American Legion Post 217 by Veterans. This historic building adds a wonderful nostalgia and is a great conversation piece for their community. In the morning, on most days of the week, various activities take place, such as singing, bingo, arts and crafts and birthday parties. They also have great community partners in the area who offer informative presentations that help keep their community updated and informed about issues of interest to seniors. Volunteers are always welcome, and they are especially grateful to those who help deliver Meals on Wheels. Their Center has a positive, inviting atmosphere with the community, nutritious meals, monthly field tours, health and wellness activities and a lot of information. They are sure that you will find that their services help to keep everyone involved in a fun way. Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 1:00 pm excluding public holidays. ..
