For over 46 years, Castle Rock has been offering programs and services for older people who "loving life in the second half. In 2017, they exceeded the 1,000 mark, as the number of elderly people is growing and their programs are in high demand. They are a non-profit organization that serves the 50+ age group and is dedicated to meeting the wants and needs of the GI's, Silent/Mature Generation, Baby Boomers and now Generation Xers. Due to the wide variety of ages they have a very varied programming, ranging from adrenaline-producing "bucket list" rides to the more sedate bridge league groups, and everything in between. People choose to come here to their Center and throughout the Denver area in their bus fleet, to make friends for life, to engage in their community, to try new things, to keep active in sport and exercise, to participate in special interest groups, to eat often, to laugh more and to be together. They also offer special services and wellness activities. Their transportation program, using volunteer drivers, offers shuttle buses for seniors throughout Castle Rock and medical appointments for those who can't drive and often allow riders to live independently.
