Mill Valley Seniors' Club, under the help of  Mill Valley Parks & Recreation Department, operates as a nonprofit with an elected board of directors. The annual membership fee is and is open to men and women aged 55 and over. The club meets every Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Terrace Lounge and Cascade Room at the Mill Valley Community Center. Mill Valley Seniors' Club provides assistance in many areas to the community. Lunch is a Brown Bag affair with free coffee and tea. Informal social meetings with the board and card games, bingo, guest speakers, seasonal art projects, as well as periodic lunches and events make everything interesting. Day trips and occasional overnight stays to an imaginative assortment of destinations are planned each month, as well as popular 3 times a month chair yoga/exercise classes. You do not need to be a member to participate in the Senior Terrace Lounge activities, but the membership fee includes a monthly newsletter that lists all club activities, trips, and special events.
