Jointly funded by the City of San Diego, the County of San Diego, and private donations, Park Avenue Community Center offers a wide range of services and programs for seniors 50 years of age and older. This busy senior center serves more than 400-500 seniors from Monday to Friday with a wide variety of programs, services, activities and volunteer opportunities. More than 100 organizations and 200 volunteers focus on social activities, direct services, and support services. Other activities are offered in the evening through public services, OAGIS, and many community organizations. The Park Avenue Community Center's monthly newsletter "Whatcha Call It" contains news, events, resources, and much more!
