During the Coronavirus response period, it currently offers meals at home. They have made some changes and are not accepting volunteers at this time. The staff delivers meals. (updated version 3/27/2020) Offers eligible Camarillo residents. Two options of the nutrition and meal program, which are available weekly: Apple-a-Day Caf provides hot meals in a social environment for Camarillo seniors. Promotes socialization and stimulation, which includes educational, informational, and interactive activities. Reservations are required. A spouse or caregiver may accompany the eligible participant for lunch. Meal delivery at home: Volunteers deliver meals as "ready-to-heat" frozen food. Customers can choose from the following options for delivering meals: Daily delivery Monday delivery of 5 meals Monday delivery  of    7 meals Home delivery customers must be at their place of residence at the time of delivery to receive meals. Hours of Operation: Apple-a-Day Opening Hours: Every 3rd Thursday of the month, 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Closed on public holidays. The Senior Division is dedicated to providing an array of special events, recreation and leisure programs and social services for adults living in the Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District, Camarillo and neighboring communities. All active adults are invited to participate. We publish a bi-monthly Activity Newsletter with a daily calendar that is mailed to registered seniors. A minimal $8 annual fee is collected. No other membership fees are required at the Pleasant Valley Senior Center. All programs are offered through the Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District. The Senior Center is located in the Community Center Park on the corner of Carmen and Burnley Street. You do not have to be a Camarillo resident to enjoy our programs and activities.
